The deadline for donations is Sunday, Nov. 10. You can bring them to the church office this week, or drop them in the collection basket in the narthex. All gifts are greatly appreciated by the prisoners, many of whom are located within the geographic boundaries of Saint Ann Parish.

During November, Catholics have a special devotion to prayer for the deceased, beginning with All Souls Day and continuing throughout the month. There are plenty of age-appropriate ways for you to engage children in this activity. Teaching Catholic Kids has
a wealth of suggestions for incorporating this into your family practice.
We continue our ongoing project to turn our current Cry Room into a sensory-friendly space for families who need to take a break from the pews during Mass. Learn more about this effort and make a donation at

We continue to have copies of Magnifikid available on Sundays and major feasts and holy days. They are placed near the bulletins for children to grab as they come into Mass. Each copy of Magnifikid includes all the readings and prayers of the Sunday Mass with explanations of the difficult words and the meaning of the rituals; a suggested prayer for Morning and Evening; many suggestions on how to live the entire week with the Lord; various games, a comic, and activities to help children learn about Christian life and culture; and a page intended for the parents with suggestions for family prayers. MagnifiKid is for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
As we spend a large part of November contemplating those souls who have gone before us, it's a great time to think about our own mortality. I encourage everyone to watch Eternal Rest on

We held our annual All Saints Day Program on November 3rd between the Masses. This was a great opportunity for our students to learn about those saintly men and women who are examples of holiness for us! Special thanks to the Knights of Columbus, who provided snacks, drinks, and prizes for our three best presentations!
